I just installed DigMeta in DNN5.2 and it didn't appear to have any errors during installation.

I have submitted a support request, but I thought I'd seek broader help while I'm waiting.

It turns out that DigMeta (or something related to it's installation) was not allowing anyone to log into the portal anymore, causing an error after submitting the username and password.   LUCKILY I had another browser open that was still logged in, so I removed DigMeta and all seems well again.  That was a close one.

However....I do still really want to use Digmeta and the rest of the Dig modules I just purchased.

I'm suspecting there may be an issue with DNN 5.2?  As I said, the install went well, but I couldn't see anyplace to get a code for activation, and I would also get an error trying to set up a connection in Digmeta (immediately upon selecting the type of module), so perhaps something didn't connect right behind the scenes.    I have only just upgraded to 5.2, so I'm still getting used to the differences.

Thanks to anyone who can help figure this out.

Hi Jay,
I already replied to your email, however you didn't mention the login problem. We don't install any dlls that could cause this. I just installed it on my 5.2 and I did not have a similar issue. I did duplicate the error which clicking "Dnnblog" when making a new meta connection. That is simply because the module is not installed. I'll add something in the next release that checks for this so it doesn't give an error.
What happened when a user tried to login, is there anything in the event viewer?
Thanks,
Mike

I will dig further (no pun intended), strange that the issue went away when I uninstalled digmeta though, so there is something......perhaps a different sort of conflict that interferes with another module which interferes with the login....we'll see what I can uncover. I'll send details via email instead of expanding this thread. Thank you.
