Just a few more questions from me today
Is publishing from Live Writer a one-way process - i.e. can one removed content (posts, images, attachments) off the server via Live Writer or is it basically up there for good without going into the file system by another means?
About image handling, which I feel is the primary benefit of Live Writer... I note that Live Writer will create a thumbnail of an image and link it to the full size image... does that mean one cannot create a "thumbnail with click-to-see large image" view in Live Writer without resizing the large image outside of Live Writer first (i.e. from a 5Mb camera image down to say 800x600)? If not then it seems that the "Link to Source Picture" dropdown option is code for "Upload a 5Mb file now". I realise that question is more about Live Writer than digMeta, but I'm hoping others have already worked through these things.
Also, when creating the path for objects, it appears that a folder called "WindowsLiveWriter" is always added to the end of the path. It seems entirely superfluous at that end of the construct, but it would be useful at the beginning of the path... i.e. All Live Writer content goes into "WindowsLiveWriter" folder and is then organised further by username,ID, or whatever. That would make more sense and be shorter.. or is that folder beyond the control of the digMeta module altogether?
Thanks for any comments or advice.
