Hi, digMeta 1.3 has just been released, and just a quick note on the multiple page support for the Ventrian News plugin.  We decided it would be best to have the entire article content in the Windows Live Writer editor so you have better control over article.  We opted for a [page] tag to delimit the pages of your article.  If you use titles for your pages, the tag will be [page:title].

The only caveat with doing this method is that you can't put the [page] tag in between html tags.  So for example, you can't put it in the middle of a table.

Example:  Keep in mind the article title is actually the title for page 1

This is the content for page 1

[page:This is page 2]

This is the content for page 2

[page]   <- no title

This is the content for page 3

There is a new option in the meta connection that will enable sending of the titles when you open existing articles for editing.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

I have just tried to post a multi-page article to the latest version of NA (6.15).
Using [page] works ok but when I try to specify a page title e.g. [page:page 2] then it fails and just puts the '[page:page 2]' into the article.

Any thoughts?

I posted 1.3.1 which should fix it.
Thanks,

Ok, now it doesn't put the '[page:page 2]' into the article and it creates multiple pages but it doesn't display the page header.
when I edit the article in NA I can see the page titles, how are they supposed to show?

That is a function of the Ventrian News Articles templates. By default it doesn't display the page title. Check out View.Footer.html.
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks that fixed it and I found the correct token for the Ventrian NA templates.
