Hi Adam,

Yes, we definately plan to put it in.  It's a tricky feature because LiveWriter doesn't directly support multiple pages in an article, so there are some different ways to get around it.   Currently I am favoring an option where you would put a tag '[page]' in your article to separate the pages.  This can lead to some parsing issues (like if someone  would put the [page] tag in the middle of a HTML

, but I think it gives the best presentation and funcationality.  So your content would like like this:

--------

I was running through the fields

[page]

To catch my dog bella.

[page]

She was runing after a rabbit.

-----------

This way you are editing your entire article instead of having to constantly switch between pages.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike

Ok that's good news. The tag approach seems a nice simplistic approach as opposed to switching pages and using the menu to create new pages provided parsing doesn't cause issues.

I was trying to think whether this may lead to any downstream disadvantages if you were to support say Active forums (which i should add would also be great) and having a page menu could allow you to switch between posts or other multi use capabilities. Perhaps just something to consider.

At any rate now I've had a taste of using WLW to edit content it's become an essential part of the chain and naturally i would love to see a number of modules supported. Enabling a custom provider that module developers can hook into may need to become a part of your strategy so this module can keep pace with the community.

Just a thought.

Cheers
Adam
