Hi,
I have installed DigMeta 1.2 on DNN 4.8.1 with Live Writer. Works fine. But I want to encourage Blogers to write a description, so not the beginning of the entry is used as a summary of the blog entry, but the description.
But in Live Writer I get only the "Title" and "Entry" field of the blog. Found nothing in the configuration.
Is there an extension, special configuration or anything else?

Thanks for quick feedback

Hi,
Check out the user guide, it details out the options. You'll want to encourage them to use the excerpt (which should be at the bottom of livewriter), or the split post (Format > Split Post in livewriter). If you don't see those in your livewriter, then there might be another issue, and I will need to your url to investigate. You can post it here, or send it to us through "Contact Us"
Thanks,
Mike

Hmm. tried some variations. But neither there is a "excerpt" section in Live Writer nor is "split screen" aktivated. What manual does you mean? I only got Digi Meta User Guide Version 1.0.0.

I guess there is a configuration issue in DNN. So I have attached the screenshot of the configuration aera.

What is the correct configuration to force excerpts:
o Send summary as excerpt
o Send summary in split post
o Top is summary, bottom is content
o Top is summary and beginning of content

Thanks

Hi,
There is a newer user guide available. Check it out, and if you still have questions let us know. Your settings look good, I need the url to your site to investigate, you can either post it here, or email it to us through "Contact us".
Thanks,
Mike

ok. Problem was the manual and missing wlwmanitest.xml. Now I got manual 1.1.0. All works fine.
Thanks and best Regards
Heinz
