Hi All,
I tried using digFlash to display a .swf file which gets input from xml file. How to configure digFlash to accept xmlfile with the path where it resides. I tried to pass 'movie' and 'x.swf?var1=abc.xml?var2=xyz.xml"
But it didnt work. I'm getting only the .swf file but not loading the images as per the specification in the xml file. The .swf, images, xml files are located in "/portals/1/".
Kindly help me to solve this.

Hi Mike,

     Thanks for the quick reply.

I could succeed in giving right path for the xml file, but for the images DNN is looking for "http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178/language/en-GB/abc.jpg", which is used in xml file.

What could be the location for the image file as per the above url?

Thanks in advance.

Rgds,

Hi Jerald,
If the url that you browse to see the flash module is "http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/" then flash will think that it lives in "http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/", so when it requests an image, it will request it from "http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://mywebsite/MyModule/tabid/178...age/en-GB/", unless somehow you can specify a full url in your xml that your swf will accept, like "http://mywebsite/portals/0/abc.jpg".
Thanks,
Mike
