I have installed the digflash module in my DNN 5.0.1.  I add the module to my page, select digFlash Admin on the module, browse the File location and File name, set my width and height.  I leave everything else alone and click "Update Settings".  I get a white box in the module.

I was previously using Coding Staff's Video Player, successfully playing .flv files.  That module was breaking our DNN updates though, so I'm trying digflash on the advice of DNN pro support.

Thanks

Hi,
Sorry, digFlash is not a movie player, it provides an easy way to play swf files on your DNN portal, not flv files. You would need an swf movie player to play your flv files.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm actually having the same issue with an SWF file.

If I navigate directly to the URL that shows as the source parameter (I get it directly from VIEW SOURCE), the SWF plays perfectly.

However the DigFlash module shows nothing but a white box.

Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Hi Dan,
Do you have firebug addon for firefox? Look at the "Net" tab and you will see exactly what the problem is. The DNN url rewriting is confusing flash. Your home page is looking for the xml file at:
http://www.yoursitel.com/xml/home-h...ller=24357

When you load just the swf in the browser, it find it here:
http://www.yoursitel.com/Portals/0/...ller=29446

If you make an /xml folder off your root, and put the xml file in there, then it should work.
Thanks,
Mike

http://MyWebSite.net/XML/MyFlash.swf

but it doesn't work and tried to make it in:

http://MyWebSite.net/portals/29/XML/MyFlash.swf

and Loading My Home Page on:

http://MyWebSite.net/MySite/portals...ePage.aspx
