I am probably doing something stupid but...

i have installed digflash on my dnn install (04.08.01)

The following link does not prompt for flash in either IE or ff

http://www.wormalade.com/Home/Flash...fault.aspx

can someone show me where i'm going wrong.

thanks in advance

update.
I have the flash plugin installed in IE but not FF for testing
loading in the page in FF does not show the swf (or detection) and loading in IE works as you would expect

if i change the following in the swfobject.js file to true:
his.setAttribute("useExpressInstall",false);this.setAttribute("doExpressInstall",false)
it correctly tells me i need to install the plugin in firefox but now does not load the swf in IE.

Hope this helps

dp6ai,

Hum, that sounds odd. Sorry to hear about your problems. I will look into that for you. What version of FireFox are you running. Also, is this on a Mac or a PC that you encounter these problems.

Later,

Emit

Hi, Can you put the script back the way it was to help diagnose the problem. I think doExpressInstall forces an install which might cause problems displaying the flash.
Thanks,
Mike

mike,

Thanks for the swift response.
i'm running
IE 7.0.5730.13
FF 2.0.0.12

I've switched the .js back to the original.

Let me know what you find.

Hi,

So are you saying that if you uninstall flash, it won't prompt you to install it?   That will be in the next release.

Thanks,

Mike
