I need to make a custom template for the the Rotate feature.

I copied the contents of Rotate-GreyLight to a new template folder Rotate-AOC, and set my module to use that template.

I can customize the existing pager classes in template.css, but it totally ignores any modification to Content.html, so i can't add new classes.

This is what I have in Content.html, and it does not show up at all. All I get is whatever content was entered in the module setup. I need to set a class on the content page so I can force a standard background on the Rotator.

This is the content

Hi,
The best way to do that is by using a few "built-in" css styles. In the grey-light example, you will find
.Rotate-GreyLight-Content
.Rotate-GreyLight-Pager

This is where you can set the background color.

If you rename your skin to Rotatae-AOC, the css elements would need to be called
.Rotate-AOC-Content
.Rotate-AOC-Pager

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks MIke, I will try that.

I had seen the .Rotate-GreyLight-Pager in the template, but not the one for the content. Is there any place where there is a list of these built in styles are documented?

Also, why do none of my changes to Content.html and Pager.html show up?

Hi,
Those are the only 2. Templates are cached for speed. From the admin menu choose "Clear Rotate Cache".
Thanks,

How I wish "Clear Rotate Cache" worked. I have chosen that many, many times, logged off, closed the browser, and still the changes don't go into effect. Only when I shut the browser and walked away for 30 minutes did they appear when I came back. I can't do that every time I need to see a change.

The custom classes are working for now, but the documentation says I should be able to change Content.HTML, clear rotate cache and see my changes and I can't.

Hi Laura,
I will look into those issues. You can also clear he cache by going to Host Settings and restarting the application.
Thanks,
Mike
