Hi Mike,

I am considering replacing the DNNStuff Aggregator on my http://www.PokerDIY.com homepage for performance reasons (I am using YSlow and my page is way too big and slow) - I need to put all the 2nd tabs into AJAX loading mode.

I this module only allows AJAX on HTML and you can't put another module in a tab?

I know DNNStuff had problems loading modules with AJAX but Yahoo Tabs (CISS) and the Gumbosoft one seem to do it ok - will this ever change in the future?

Thanks

Rodney

Hi Rodney,
Some modules seem to require to be on the page at the beginning of the page lifecycle, especially when they require loading their own .js or .css in the page header, or do some javascript on page init. The more complex the module, the more likely it won't work in an ajax tab. Sometimes I got a module working by including a blank version on the page so all the .js and .css are included, and putting the module with all the info in digRotate. I recommend to people to just download the demo and try it. If you need a 30-day key to try it on pokerdiy, let me know. If the module is complex, it will be hard to include it in any ajax tab without some custom work. If it's just the league summaries that are on your home page, it will probably work.
Thanks,
Mike
