I want to have a series of HTML content in a digRotate module.  I would like to put links in the modules to determine which is shown next when I click the link.

Is this possible? If so, how?

Hi Joe,
If you look at the "Default" template it has examples of next/prev buttons. Is this what you are looking for? I'm not sure I 100% understand what you are trying to do.
Thanks,
Mike

Yes, I do know about the Next/Prev buttons.

What I would like to do is generate a link somewhere that takes me to the Nth item in the list of items to be rotated. Directly. Is that possible?

Hi Joe,
Is this link on another page, or the same page? If it's on the same page and you don't want a page refresh, you will need to look at the links generated in the digRotate html, and duplicate that, it would be something like "javascript:digRotate[xxx].RotateAt(xx)".
If you want to link from another page, you need to determine the rotateID. You can get that when you edit the rotate content, you will see something like ID=232. Then in your url, you put www.blah.com/test/ShowRotate/232/default.aspx.
Thanks,
Mike

I just upgraded to  the latest digRotate release for DNN5. Since I'm using Friendly URL's, the code above resulted in a 404 error. After some testing, it appears that the following URL will display the desired tab:

https://www.blah.com/test/faq.aspx?showrotate=[rotateid]

Verification from someone else would be great. Anyone else want to try it out?

Thx.
