Start Date and End Date

Details: Adding the ability for a Start Date and and End Date would allow us to preload content in a retail environment. Items in the rotator would start showing on a given date, and then expire on a given date.

I'm surprised more folks are interested in this. A rotator of features of the site needs to be timely and fresh. By adding a start and end date (or even honoring the module start and end date) seem to be a must-have. Is there a work around I'm missing?
